Material on the database, which is updated regularly, is subject to change. Therefore, it is essential that anyone citing information drawn from the database should give the date when they consulted the database.
New editions of entries
Periodically a new set of records for a text may replace an earlier set; this will be indicated in the title of the text (e.g., Life of St Mary of Egypt [second edition]). In such cases, the old records will be retained by the Database editor. A user wishing to consult the archived records should please contact Dr Rohini Jayatilaka.
